Slackware on laptop

Hi all,

I recently got a laptop and I have installed Slackware 12.0 on it. Everything is fine, except the "FN" keys. I'm not able to switch the display between my laptop screen and my external monitor. I get display on both.

This is the first time I'm using linux on laptop, can anyone give me some info about setting up slackware with laptop specifics like powersave, enabling the "FN" keys, etc.

I am very interested in this also. I was impressed that Slackware 12.1 included all the wireless tools AND the firmware for my particular card (Intel 4965) Wireless worked "out-of-the-box".
