sharing files with infrared connection

Hi, I have 1 laptop with red hat9 and another 1 with Windows 2000, in the first one I already configured the infrared connections and is working fine , at least with mobiles phones...also, when I put the other laptop(windows 2000) next to it , recognizes the machine(irdadump)...but when I tried to send some files between them I get the errors

irda_extract_integer(), invalid parameter lenght! Expected 1 bytes, but value had 2 bytes!

can u help me with this problem ??....or if itīs really not possible, is there another way to share files between this 2 laptops but without the option of using lan connections ??

thanks..

Say more about what you did when you "tried to send some files between them". For example:
- what program is printing the error "irda_extract_integer(), i..."?
- what modules do you have loaded? irdalan?
- show us the output from irdadump, including command line

There may be a lot of clues here if you'll reveal the data!

regards, John
