Serious problem appear to me during installing Fedora 15

this message appear to me when i installing Fedora 15 on my LapTop:
fatal error occurred when installing the xorg-x11-drv-vmware package. this cold indicate errors when reading the installation media.
however i made another DVD ,ever through this message also appear again.so kindly appreciate your assistant.

Have you checked the md5sum of the iso you downloaded to ensure it was ok?

That's fine but you need to ensure nothing went wrong during the download, please check the md5sum against the published one.

but i wanna say something ,what is your opinion if I downloaded fedora 14 and update it till become fedora 15.
kindly feed me with the command which i written till update fedora 14 to become fedora 15.

why i will do this ,because i can not open my laptop ,therefore i can not check MD5 of Fedora's IOS image,

but ,unfortunately ,I have another problem ,after i installed fedora ,I can not play video and audio file which related to windows ,kindly help me so that solve this issue ,because this problem make me angry

Ok, are you using FC14 or 15, as you previously mentioned? Is it working correctly, and are you on to a different issue now, because playing media files isn't related to your original question.

You can install mplayer and it's codecs, and be able to play media files easily. Should be something like "yum install mplayer". But you don't say what program you're trying to play the files with, or what KIND of files you're trying to play, so it's hard to be specific.

It also might help adding the rpmfusion repositories if you haven't. This gives you access to software not shipped with Fedora.
