Seeking Kernel Source for Zaurus 6000L

Hi

I am looking for the english kernel source for the Sharp Zaurus 6000L so I can compile a GPS driver.

I have managed to find links to http://www.zaurus.com/dev/ but you get re-directed to sharpusa.com which says: -

"If you are looking for the Sharp Zaurus Developer site, it has been discontinued. Sharp is sorry for the inconvenience."

can anyone help?

Thanks in advance

I may be misinterpreting your question, but if you just need a source code for the kernel to do your own compile go to www.kernel.org. Should give you what you need.

Hope this helps,

As far as I am aware (I could be wrong) the Zaurus has a heavily modified kernel so the standard kernel from www.kernel.org isn't what i'm after.

You may just need the headers and not the source. Good luck finding the source, I found it on a chinese website if that helps. From what I have read you can use a linux kernel, but YOU have to patch and crosscompile for the Zaurus. The patch and crosscompile info is all over. I'd say grab the kernel, patch and begin by reading the howtos on the net.

Thanks tormented_one it looks like it is the kernel headers I want.

I am trying to do this on my Zaurus - I already have gcc running on it.

A quick google (now that I know what I want) revealed

http://developer.ezaurus.com/sl_j/so...om1_11.tar.bz2

which had the kernel files I was after.
