Unhappy repositories for Eeebuntu 3.0

Until a couple of weeks ago synaptic and update manager in Eeebuntu happily downloaded from http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/dists/jaunty. Then all the jaunty stuff suddenly disappeared, although material belonging to some earlier ubuntu distributions is still there. What's up?

I definitely recommend upgrading to U10.04 if you want to stay with Ubuntu. Although the step-wise upgrade process should work, if I have to skip one or more releases, I generally back up my home directory and any important config files in /etc, then do a fresh install. Before upgrading, you might also want to check out the Aurora distro, as it's the successor to eeebuntu.
