problems with klaptop

I use knoppix 3.7 on a futjistu siemens amilo laptop.

The weird thing is that Klaptop shuts down the computer when the battery is at about 70% and then it says, I have only 4mins left. When I shut down Klaptop the laptop remains running for another 40 minutes.

The information int the display says also that it has 12:xx hours of battery power left, and in practice it's only capable of running the laptop for 55minutes.

Is there something wrong or is there some program to calibrate Klaptop??

Thx
Wannes
