I have slackware 9.0 installed on a Dell Inspiron 3200. It runs extremely well, but does not detect a 3com/US Robotics 56k V.90 PC Card Modem (Model 3056). While linux is booting it reads: PCI Card: 3com/USR 56k Modem and then below that "Unsupported Card Type." In Xwindows the cardmgr reports the card as "unsupported."
I assume I need to add the driver. /etc/pcmcia has a list of many cards, should i add a driver there? Any help would be much appreciated
