mac laptop linux idea


is it possible to install linux on an old mac powerbook 1400cs that only has a floppy drive? i want it to be able to play simple games and learn linux commands/teach linux ect. besides, who likes os5 on a mac anyways. is it possible? and if so where do i find a nice floppy set of linux? or make one ect...?

Debian still has floppy-based installs, as seen at http://ftp.us.debian.org/debian/dist...c/images-1.44/

but are you sure that debian supports PowerPC ??
I don't know but i'm sure it doesn't support Power PC.
Umm a good distro for Mac would be yellow dog, its a Power PC version of Red hat, but I'm not sure that your old Mac is going to be able to run it though, go to www.yellowdog.com and check it out!

By the way if you don't know what i meant by Power PC, its a particular Processor that Mac uses. Like Pc with intel and AMD.
