Hello markscave

This is your fist post here, this is all we know about you, this post here introduces you, forms our opinion of you.

There are two kinds of help requests.
1. OK, duds, here is the problem, I'll sit back and relax with my sixpack, let me know if you manage to find a fix.
2. Hello forums, I've been working to resolve this, but now I'm stuck and could use some guidance. Included is precise problem description, steps taken to resolve it, all key information about distro, version, software and hardware involved, etc. The post itself is grammatically correct, nice to look at.

In first case some will reply, every forum has some members who are keen to show how smart they are. Many members won't bother, sloppy posting indicates sloppy mind behind it and trying to help such a person is proven not to be rewarding.
In second case you will get qualified help and respect.

How would you classify your help request?

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.

It appears you are running linux Mint 20. Cinnamon is the name of the desktop, not the distribution. A quick search shows this is a message due to an error in HW/SW state checker logic and as you posted does not effect the running of the operating system/desktop. This was supposed to be fixed a few years ago in kernel 4.14 something so I wonder since Mint 20 is using kernel 5.8 why you are still seeing this warning. As far as I know it is safe to ignore but not something you can fix.
