There are two kinds of help requests.

2. Hello forums, I've been working to resolve this, but now I'm stuck and could use some guidance. Included is precise problem description, steps taken to resolve it, all key information about distro, version, software and hardware involved, etc. The post itself is grammatically correct, nice to look at.
In first case some will reply, every forum has some members who are keen to show how smart they are. Many members won't bother, sloppy posting indicates sloppy mind behind it and trying to help such a person is proven not to be rewarding.
In second case you will get qualified help and respect.
