It has been working without any trouble for a while. But, this week, it looks like the second SSD drive went south. I needed to rescue it with single user mode to check file system and repair. Several i-nodes were gone.
Main memory block, where / sits, gets unstable, occasionally undetectable!
Many other components are unstable. On boot, occasionally keyboard is dead, but not always. -need power button to shutdown.
The other day, battery did not charge, but it did yesterday.
It is fun to use, expecting next trouble, but practically, need perpetual work. Perfect for studying troubleshoot technique.
Have a good day.

Reason: typo
No. Never liked Asus build quality myself. It did not take long for left click to break on my Asus EEEPC netbook.
Then the Wifes Asus Touchscreen I3 netbook took a hardware dive next. Only runs off of external drive. Internal sata wiring is fubar. Bios won't see a hard drive on Sata connection.
So not a good track record with Asus in my ball court. Their support site kinda sux also. Just my opinion, mind you.
It was my fault to straighten up such a faulty hardware. Apology.
I hope no penguins followed my thread only for trouble.
And wish penguins stay away. (also away from covid-19)

Reason: Copy paste error
I had one of these running Mageia 7, now 8, as a dual boot with Win10 using the on-board eMMC device.
I needed to disable secure boot and used Win10 to create the required empty partition.
Mageia offers 32 and 64 bit UEFI .isos, that require no modification to boot and install.
pros: keyboard, wifi (inc 5GHz), touchpad and touch screen functions ok, and with Gnome, the virtual keyboard works OOTB, so it works in tablet mode also.
cons: auto-rotate doesn't work, nor camera, but for me, these are not important.
