MGE LQ Newbie Registered: Oct 2005 Location: Manchester, UK Distribution: SimplyMEPIS 8 Posts: 14 Rep:	Latitude D610 ATi woe's Howdy all, Recently got given a D610 Latitude (1.7 Centrino, 512MB DDR2, Mobility X800, SATA 80GB), and the first thing I did was get rid of the nasty XP install residing on it. Its now running Mandriva LE 2005, and the rest of it I have got working, however... I just Can't get the Mobility X800 to work. I got the fglrx rpm from ATi's site, and installed it with rpm -ivh --force fglrx....rpm and it went it no problem. I ran the fglrxconfig (after I backed up my xorg.conf file), and after a reboot, glxinfo informs me I don't have Direct Rendering. Does anyone know how I can get this going? Any help would be appreciated.
