Knoppix trouble with 1366x768 display

Hi Guys

I bought a new HP Pavilion dv3-4170ee laptop that has windows 7 64bit. it is running in the resolution 1366x768. I tried to run knoppix 6.4.4 dvd live. but it initially shows the knoppix logo. but after loading hardware it goes blank. but i am able to see the knoppix logo and desktop very very very dim. barely can make out any thing. i tried knoppix= no3d but didnt work
please help. Ubuntu 10.04 worked fine live cd.

please help
