Keycodes X windows and Insanity

Ok so I have a strange issue and its with this demon Samsung laptop

Some of my Fn key sequences do not work correctly since samsung cant figure out how to create proper bios that will control this garbage. Anyway some of the keycodes work just fine such as Fn left to send to X windows XF86Audio. Those are fine and they can be configured with xbindkeys. My problem is with the brightness controls. First off let me say that none of the samsung related brightness fixes for the kernel or modules works correctly, I repeat none of them work on this netbook. Its a NP-NC110.
Anyway the Linux kernel says that the keycode e009 and e008 are not set so I set them with a startup script to bind to 233 and 234, that are defined in X to be brightness controls. Anyway when I used showkey in the console they report correctly as 233 and 234 but when I start Xorg, Xorg compleatly ignores the key presses. I have tried to make a xmodmap file to set them to the correct codes but for some reason when I do a xev or a xbindkeys -k they both report nothing is being hit when you do the Fn up and down keys which are set to control the brightness. Pretty much I have attempted everything at this point and have just given up and used the Ctrl+Shift+up and down to run the backlight script that uses setpci to modify the backlight.

So anyone got any ideas on what to try next as I have pretty much exhausted the internet of ways to get this thing working.
