kde desktop


Wuz up peeps, I installed KDE on my fedora 10 IBM laptop.When it was with gnome I could use keyboard function e.g fn + f4 to sleep and fn +home to brighten and so forth worked.When I installed KDE they dont work.Any ideas how to get them working again?

Do you use KDE 3.5 or KDE4? In KDE 3.5 we need to try in:
KDE Control Center -> Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Shortcuts

Even in KDE4 you will have an option for Keyboard shortcuts in Control Center. Check out.

I go Application>System>System Settings> and I see the keeyboard and mouse icon there, but it says nothing about dimming the screen .**sighss
