I have a Treo 600 that I connect via USB and the SUSE 9 Operation System.
I have read the post and tried to do this on my own but When I try to sync the phone and computer do not communicate.
I tried the following:
Pilot Device = /dev/pilot
Speed = 115200
Type = USB
Timeout = 2
~/bin/coldsync-2.2.5 # ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 pilot
~/bin/coldsync-2.2.5 # ln -s /dev/ttyUSB0 palm
~/bin/coldsync-2.2.5 # coldsync -p /dev/pilot
Warning: no device on /dev/pilot. Sleeping
Warning: no device on /dev/pilot. Sleeping
I tried this with USB0 and USB1 using KPilot, coldsync, evalution, and J-Pilot
Am I missing a step or do I need to use something different.
And could someone please tell me how to tell which USB port my palm is on?
I can't help, but I have the same exact problem with my treo 90. Does anyone know what to do? I don't want to have a totally worthless treo on my hands.
