inspiron 8100: keyboard problem

it's not a linux-related problem. The same happens either in linux or windows.

Whenever I replug the power cord to my laptop, two whole columns of the keyboard stop working for roughly 15 minutes:
- 6YHN
- 7UJM

What's going on? I consider this to be weird enough. Could it be a bios problem?

There are other minor keyboard problems: the fn key hasn¡t korked in a while... and the PgUp and the PgDn aren't working either... but they are "constant". What could the the problem with the power and the keyboard?

I had a similar problem with a Gateway Solo 9550.
Intermittent dead keys. Very annoying.
I used an external keyboard as a workaround for awhile.
Replace the keyboard.
