hi guys
I have a little problem: my internal PCI-modem (HSF 56k HSFi Modem) is somewhat not recognised or so. It is shown in the hardware-list, but as a PCI-device and not as a modem (this might not matter, i don't know).
The fact is, that i also don't know, how it is rightly configured. The automatic detection won't find it, when i click "network devices" -> "modems" in YAST (or so, use german version). So I have to configure it manually. At the point where to choose the conection to the computer, i have set the line on "dev/modem"
kinternet just won't get conected. It tries to connect, but after about two seconds stops. in the log there is following line:

ppd[0] died: ppd options error (exit code 2)

Now I don't know what to do. Please help me.

PS.: I have installed the utility, that was on the Suse DVD for my modem

PPS.: Nearly forgotten: I use suse linux 9.1
