HP NX7400 - No HD detected

I selected HP nx7400 laptops for a mobile lab because of HP's willingness to embrace Linux. I just tried to install SuSE Linux 10 and SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 with the same result: "No hard drive detected" during the installation process. I can't find anything "locked" in the BIOS (I might not have interpreted everything correctly). FYI, this model has a Celeron CPU.

If anyone has guidance, I would really appreciate it. Thanks...

I have the same problem.
You have to change some like "native sata" in one submenu in last menu in bios.

Ps. Sory for my English. I just start lern

Yup! That was the solution. Then install SuSE 10.0 with the Safe Settings option.
