Hello...
Im searching for a script or package (debian prefered) that will figure out what driver the card should use and install it.
If there is no i thought maybe i will create one ;-)
so i googled abit and found this modules (that arent allready in m-a):
adm8211 (alumium) :
http://aluminum.sourmilk.net/adm8211/
Orinco:
http://www.hpl.hp.com/personal/Jean_...x/Orinoco.html
atmelw landriver/F5D* :
http://atmelwlandriver.sourceforge.net/news.html
prism
http://prism54.org/
rtl8180
http://rtl8180-sa2400.sourceforge.net/
or :
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/...Downloads=true
airo_cs (Cisco)
http://www.cisco.com/
so if do something like that writen in LeX (for the example):
Code:
%{
void download(flag)
{
char *download[]={"firstpath","sectpath",etc ..}
system("wget -c ",download[flag]);
}
%}
%%
int flag;
(rtl8180) flag = 0;
((WM-PCCARD-2)|(3CRDW696)|(3CRWE154G72)|(3CRWE777A)) flag = 1; /*there are more chips ! */
((3CRSHEW696)|(3CRSHPW196)) flag = 2;
(bdm43)[0-9]+ system("m-a update bcm43xx preapere bcm43xx build bcm43xx install bcm43xxx");
[\#] download(flag);
%%
this is the main idea but there are many more chips is this even the right way ?
