Help - Windows XP-Fedora dual boot

installed fedora in my windows XP notebook, GRUB installed, not in MBR. i used to use the boot floppy earlier. Now i dont have a boot floppy, even i dont have floppy drive in my notebook so that option is out.

so how can i do the intial booting of fedora to make the "bootsect.lnx". once i boot i can easily mount c drive and copy the file to it

can i boot it from a thumb drive or a CD drive, if so where can i get the boot software

Could try using the super grub boot-disk and chain-booting with it so you can edit your file. If you installed grub to the fedora partition could also set that partition active and rebooting the bootable tag on the windows partition. ( just switch them back to boot to windows).
