Hi friends ,

preloaded windows8.1, i have created a parition for centos. But when i try to
boot from installation media the startx failed error and gui installation fails
i feel like im making some mistakes on bios please help to rectify the error.
Thanks in advance
Yes it's booting i have installed the centos and after reboot it's booting in to windows 8 only not showing any grub options or
boot menu to select centos
Secure boot and uefi ought to work but not all computers seem to be standard. Your boot selection should have maybe two choices for dvd/cd. One being legacy and one being current. It should look like there is two optical drives installed. You choose the secure boot choice. Now if that fails then you will have to play with it. Might have to look at any or all of the Fedora web pages on new computer install linux fedora.
