Getting modem to work on Presario1200z


Not sure if this is a dumb question or not b ut the help would be appriated. I installed SuSE 9.0 on my presario about a week ago and I am having trubble finding out how to get the modem to configure/install or what ever properly. Can any one help me with this issue? Do I need drivers or to configure it or what?

I don't see your exact model there, but similar models are running a lucent winmodem which does have linux drivers.

You should check what version your modem is, if it's a lucent you can get drivers here
