FYI Bios hidden/advanced menu

Post for all you out there with laptop that has crappy settings. You may have a hidden/advanced bios.

May want to see if you cant access a hidden/advanced through pressing buttons either before bios screen or in bios.I would recommend a search on your favorite search engine.

You may just find a hidden/advanced bios menu and enable or disable settings you never thought existed on your laptop.

Works for both my old Acer Aspire from 2017 and a 2019/20 Lenovo legion y740.

could bring new life to old machine. Best of luck in finding out hope you do and brings new function or life to your laptop.

Though word of caution some settings may brick your system.

The hidden/advanced bios I am talking about is not your average F1/F2 or backspace or del key average bios.
Manufactures dont include this in your typical user manual. It is something you would find in a Technical Manual not meant for user.

search your make model of laptop with hidden advanced bios. key combo either during cold boot before splash screen or load bios and press key combo then save reboot and enter bios to unlock hidden/advanced menu/bios.

be careful what you change.
