Fedora Core 2 on Dell 8600

I need some help here,

I have the WSXGA+ screen Prefix code HTC which I belive is the Hitachi screen, driven by a GFX go5650 graphics GPU. I cannot seem to get the nvidia drivers loaded. I have installed the 8kstack from linuxant but still no avail, I may need som help cofiguring the display as well

also I use a Dlink DWL G650 Wireless card one of the 108 speed "G" cards, has anyone got one of these to work. I have a Linksys WPC11 Version 1 taht works out of the box with the Orinico driver. the PC has the Intel 2100 Wireless b onboard but It doesny seem to work either

I have found several links on the WUXGA screen and for help with the Go 4200 and GO 5200 GPUs but none of that seems to work

If someone has some experience with this laptop with similar setup or has ideas, any help will be apreciated

I have the same wireless card (Intel Pro 2100.)
go to the HCL part of this site (http://www.linuxquestions.org/hcl/index.php ) and look it up, there are drivers for it there. I haven't gotten them installed yet cuz I'm a noob, but they seem to work for those who know what they're doing.

I have the same laptop, except using Nvidia. Was a PITA to get the video (i.e. the wide-screen) and the wireless working, but it can be done! Just need lots of patience. FOr the Intel 2100, I was finally sucessful using Ndiswrapper, and it's working well, so I'd recommend you try it. The first two times I tried installing it it would lock up my system completely. But out of desperation tried it a 3rd time and it worked.

Fedora Core 2 gave me few problems on my Dell Inspiron 8500 using NDIS Wrapper. Now Redhat gave me fits getting the wireless working with the Kernel without upgrading the Redhat Kernel. But since FC2 uses a newer kernel the NDIS WRapper installed like a charm.
