Fedora 10 and Asus Sound Function Keys Not Working

I have an Asus G1Sn and I recently installed Fedora10 on it but my function keys for my sound (fn+f10-f12) for sound mute/down/up do not work... Does anyone know what I can do to get this working? Its not a huge deal I guess but it is nice to have.

Hi Jeff91,

check if the support of Asus Function Keys is enabled in you Kernelconfiguration. If not you have to compile a new Kernel with support for the Asus Function Keys.

That is a pain... that among other issues with Fedora have led me back to Ubuntu... Thanks for the info though
