Dracut.initqueue slow to start

I have a single laptop. dell d640 that is super slow to boot. from grub to being able to run is 5:20, that is minutes and seconds. systemd-analyze blame shows that dracut-initqueue is taking at least a minute to start unlike other systems that take 9 seconds. other services up to 30 seconds to start each. I need help with this.

I do not have much technical knowledge on the subject, but a quick web search got me a couple of links that may be useful for the problem:

In addition, I searched for 'dell d640' on the web but was not able to get this specific model. I got results showing the specifications for a c640 and d620 and both have old/conservative hardware (like 1 GB RAM). I would suggest to use a light Gnu/Linux distro for such hardware. I use PeppermintOS and would suggest this for your hardware.
