Distorted installation screen of kali linux on Ideapad Z500

I'm trying to install kali linux 64bit as a second OS on my ideapad z500 which already has windows 10 64bit Home installed.
I created bootable usb using rufus with settings
GPT partition for UEFI, FAT32 and wrote the image to a 16GB sandisk USB. Then I restarted and in boot option selected the USB. First it showed me a the options to install and live boot on a small window on top left corner. When I selected install the screen gets distorted like this.

How much do you know about Linux? Kali is an advanced distro that is Not suitable for everyday use and not beginner friendly.

Try a different distro such as Mint or Ubuntu and see if you get the same result.

If you are only after the glorified "hacking" tools, bear in mind that these can be installed on almost any Linux Distro.

.....not to mention that most newbies who want to install Kali have heard all about how great it is from some (usually!) slightly 'dodgy' friend, and think that breaking into the neighbour's wifi networks sounds like a 'cool' way to spend a wet Saturday afternoon.....

God preserve us from saints & idiots.
