Difference in display between pclinuxos and winxp

I have a Dell inspiron 2650, nvidia gforce2go 16mb card, mobile p4 m. Using PCLinuxOS, I have noticed that pics and such are much sharper and have better coloration than under WinXP. Does anybody know why this is?

Of course, but clear type does not effect images. Aside ffrom the sharpness, the color seems much better as well.

What are you asking for? Help on making *doze look as good as Linux? Or how to make your Linux perform worse, so it will be like *doze?

After all it's a Linux forum.....
