configuring my video card??

I have RHEL 4 on my dell e1505, which has an intel graphics accelerator 950. The default video card setting is the VESA generic driver.. But the quality of display is no where near what I get in Windows..
There is not intel 950 option in the "choose your video card" options. Intel 915, intel 945 didnt work.
Can you suggest what I should do??

Thanks a lot.. I'm new to linux..

A quick search on google and here mentions using the i810 drivers.
Here are a couple from google.

I tried to install the rpms necessary using yum (since there were quite a few dependencies) . But i think I have a problem with yum.. can you see what it is?

Would not think you need to worry about any rpms or yum at the moment. HAve you just changed the driver from vesa to i810 in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

The Intel i810 driver is appropriate. However, you need the 915resolution package for your distribution to allow it to operate in 1280x800 widescreen mode, it looks terrible in the default 1024x768 resolution.
