My issue is that when I am trying to install Centos it always gets stuck on the line: Freeing unused kernel memory 1604k freed

I have even tried installing other linux distros with no success.

Any help and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I've tried many possible soultions and none of the work

When I attempt to boot without removing 'quiet' from the kernel it just shows four penguins in the top left corner of my screen. I also hit the caps and number lock keys to verify it did infact freeze and would not respond.
