Question Cant install any linux dist (only Antergos). "Using load options" to freeze. On a Jumper ezbook3

I am trying to install different linux distros on my "Jumper ezbook 3". The only dist Im able to install is Antergos, not my dist of choice. I get the same problem with all other dists Ive been trying to install. I have searched the web for answers, but I cant find one that makes sense to me. I get the "Using load options", and then it freezes, on every dist, so I guess its something in the boot-options that must be solved, though I cant figure it out. The picture "Using load options" is what happens, on every dist. The other picture is what is shown when I boot up Antergos, after this Antergos boots up all fine. I acctually did try to boot one other dist with the same boot options as that of my working Antergos dist, with no luck. Any help is much welcome!

What firmware do you have on your computer? UEFI or Bios? And is your system 32 or 64bit?

It would also be helpful to have a list of distros/versions that you've tried already. And what is the Distro of your choice? It might give us something to work off of.

Looking at the specs, you have an eMMC storage, these do seem to cause some problems with installations, there are a couple of threads on here already, if I remember right, might be worth a search.

fatmac: Yeah, I know. But I'm getting seriously mad in the head now... I can't find anything on the web's about this problem that I have not yet tried. I have Antergos on it now, it has no wifi so I can't really do anything. I've tried to respin it from a Live Ubuntu 17.10 USB, but OF COURSE "xorriso" isn't available, so I can't go on with the respin. I've searched for the source code but found NO one that WORKS. I found a .deb of xorriso, but when trying to run it (could not run it in terminal, so through Software... in Ubuntu) it does not install it. The install just blinks and nothing is installed. No error message.
Can't for the heart of me understand why someone can't just upload a working respun ISO? Is there some legal stuff I don't know about?
I'm about to throw (well, wouldn't do that..) my damn ezbook away!! I wanna rant away with anger, but believe it or not, a small fly just got in to my nose. Weird.

SUPID ME!
I actually found a respun ISO! (https://blog.ss88.uk/how-to-install-...r-ezbook-3-pro)
I almost could finish the installation but, at the end of it, I got a error-messege (I'm very sorry for not writing it down). The installer did not finish, but I was so happy and the same time furious about gettin' so close, so I rebooted my Jumper (got the "..press any button in 5 sec to...") and then straight to shell. Nothing unusual, though I have no freakin' idea why that error always shows...
I reboot, booting from my rEFInd USB, this really takes my to a working (well...) Elementary desktop! But, as always, WITHOUT WIFI. If I could just get the wifi goin', I think most of my problems will be solved with time and some fast-paced-noob-terminal-work. PLEASE!!

Mill J: well, read above for latest..
I have:
Core version: 5.12
UWFI 2.5 PI 1.4

This is just what info I can find in the BIOS menus.

What wireless chip do you have? There were several used on this machine so far.

lspci -vk | grep -i wireless

Naah. Nothing happens when I run the lspci command.
Just a new prompt without errors or info or anything. Nothing.

Is there any way I can grab the driver from the Ubuntu 17 system?

Hehe, this is f*cking ridiculous. And I think this is were it ends for me. Can't stand to see more errorshit. On one f*cking thing I end this shit; interwebs. But I'm going crazy here. Every time I pass one error there's a new, awesome one waiting! It was most fun the first week, but now I wanna throw linux in Linus face and beg him never to enter my life in a digital kind of way. NEVER.
Don't get me wrong, I hate using Windows for anything else than gaming. I guess I have to get back to install Elementary on my 100 year old Mac. At least that works without to much hassle. But man that old mac is slow.

(excuse language, I'm superpissed)

https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...766/page3.html Have you checked this out? It sounds exactly like your situation. And they did everything fixed.

Mill J, I think I wanted that solution to work for me to too much for it to actually do work. It didn't work... Thank for the tip though!

Every time I boot it starts in "Airplane" mode, but the switch for on/off is in off mode. It just says its in Airplane mode. There is no problems switching it to, well, OFF, then ON again and it doesn't say it's in Airplane mode anymore. And bluetooth looks normal, it's on, I haven't tried it yet 'cause bluetooth is useless.
But, can this be something worth check in to, how ever I would do that?

Did you try blacklisting that module as suggested by that thread I posted?

I recommend running dmesg to see if any firmware is missing and what other errors you can find.

Yes, I tried blacklisting that rtl-thing..9
Ok, so I have now re-installed Win10 (just to, like, see if the same problems occur winthin Windows), and beat me! Now I have no network devices at all, and also the touchpad ain't working no more. There are no drivers for the mouse/trackpad. And, as usual: I have no interwebs access, so updates and such via any kind of connection isn't available.
I think I broke something kinda important when I wiped it of all it's basic needs... Since not even windows can detect no network adapter. I thought maybe it was something in BIOS, if there was some network on/off option that hade gone wild, but I don't seem to have such a thing in my BIOS 'cause I saw no options about it.
Would it be a good idea to return back some of the linux-dists and like, install the latest kernel? I remember mine earlier today was 4.13.something, and there is a 4.15 out now. Like, what the hell could have happened when I wiped my disk that have had such an impact?!

What the?! I'm running Elementary OS live USB now, the touchpad works as usual, the no network adapter, of course, isn't there. But, so ok, now I know the trackpad is a Windows thing anyway.

(btw: very much thanks to all that have the patience to help me

if it does not work on CLI try using root with the sudo then issue the command some of them will not give you anything unless you're root.

if it says' command not found' then it is not installed on your system, or permissions are off. But mostly not installed.
