Asus eeepc 1015CX + Antix MX14 issues

Guys,

Spawning a thread from the original one :- getting-netbook-with-intel-cedarview-need-some-confirmation-please

So I finally managed to install MX14 on this netbook and its running xfce well and good. But after a day of usage I found out its far from perfect.
So here are the issues I want to point out :-

1. The sleep/suspend is not working. I can send the netbook to sleep but when it wakes up, the screen goes all white. Nothing works, no alt-ctrl-backspace. Have to restart the machine everytime then.

2. Couple of fn keys are not working. As in the sleep and wifi. As a result the wifi is always ON because there is no physical button for that.

3. One CPU core is always used more than 90% by X server. Snippet from top:-
Code:
PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND
 2641 root 20 0 115m 43m 8560 R 99.8 4.4 67:50.88 Xorg
 3163 cruise 20 0 176m 132m 10m R 23.5 13.3 18:08.34 xfce4-terminal
As a result the system is running continuously hot.

4. Even if I select that don't save the existing session, next time when I log in, the previous session opens up.

Any suggestions/workarounds will be appreciated.

Adding inxi -F output :-
Code:
$ inxi -F

Thanks rokytnji for the links. I know you since my Linuxforums.org days, you are a biker.
Unfortunately, the second link is an old one and I already went through it. I'll try to dig in more in the mepis/debian forums.

There's a workaround mentioned in the first link for suspend, will try that. I'll also try installing Slackware 14.1 on it, just to check.

Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

Regards.
