AIM on my Fedora COre 3

I was using AIM on my fedora core 3 up until yesterday it worked fine. Today when I tried to start AIM it wouldnt start.

I used yum to remove it and its gone now. I went to the AOL website to try and download it again and reinstall it . All I get is a page that looks like it wants to play an audio message or something.

Any thoughts?

Simple comment: why use AIM if you can use GAIM?

I know you already deleted it, but oftentimes if you start something and it doesn't come up, take a look at your processes (with top, ksysguard, etc...) and you'll see that there is a lingering process that needs to be killed before a new one starts. It happened to me all the time with Real Player in FC3.

Anyway, your browser is probably thinking that an rpm file is a real player media file. You'll have to use "Save target as..." I think. I had this problem before but I can't remember how I fixed it. Sorry bout that!
