Lightbulb Warning Kernel Errors Present st0: Error with Sense Data

Hi everyone,

I'm new to this forum and am not that well vested with Linux errors.
We have the above subject error on our server.

We have cleaned the tape drive with cleaning tape and also can manually load and eject tape and also read data from tape.
However error keeps showing in /var/log/message.

Any suggestions to fix will be greatly appreciated.

SCSI sense data is well documented. Post the whole error including the hex digits. I've found guessing seldom works well in solving SCSI issues.

Hi smallpond,

Thank you for your reply.
I'm not sure how/where to get the hex digits you mentioned.
However I've attached snippets of the message log and /var/mail/root.

Appreciate your response.

Thankyou
