Problem in adding system call

hi everybody i am having mandriva installed and i tried to add system
call in kernel 2.6.20... after compiling and booting from new kernel i tested if my call works by creating .c file and calling my system call..
gcc compiler gives following error

/usr/bin/ld: errno: TLS definition in /lib/libc.so.6 section .tbss mismatches non-TLS reference in /root/tmp/cch8ZFop.o
/lib/libc.so.6: could not read symbols: Bad value
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

what should be done to get rid of this error?
