need a freeware to defragment ntfs volume in linux.

Hi,

I am using ntfs-3g user space driver for ntfs volume. I need a utility which can defragment it.
Please let me know in case someone has some linux based freeware.
Windows based utilities are available but no linux based is available.

Regards
Nitin Arora

Well, unfortunately there are no good linux defrag utils. However, if you have an old XP disk lying around, or a licence key on the back of an old machine, maybe you can try this: http://www.nu2.nu/pebuilder/, it has gotten people out of similar holes in the past.
