Well I don't know for certain about that but I'd be surprised if it was the case. Partition magic deals with partition tables and is a Windows app, whereas GRUB is a Linux bootloader, so they shouldn't come into any contact with each other. The only peripheral contact they would have would be that they both rely on the partition table, but that is a common format irrespective of OS, so if it were the case that Partition Magic and GRUB didn't play well then you'd have the same problems with LILO.
