Hi,
I m new to kernel programming. I need some guidance. Can anyone help me?? Kindly reply to my post or can reply me at nakulgiyengar@gmail.com

I have installed vmware and ubuntu on top of that.
I have created two scsi hard disks of 512Mb.
/dev/sdb and /dev/sdc
I have some files in /dev/sdb
I have to write a kernel module to copy the blocks of data from /dev/sdb to /dev/sdc using generic_make_request
This is the assignment. Please help me.

Surely if you wanted to succeed in a course, you would do the assignment yourself... otherwise there would be no point in passing the course because no knowledge would be gained. What makes you think anyone will help you with your homework?

I have had a read in the past, it seems easy to follow and well documented. I assume it only covers the basics from what i can tell.
