Interrupt handler location?


Hi guys,Thanks for your excellent answers
Who should write interrup handler for I/O devices,either "kernel" developer or "device driver" developer?

They are one and the same, so to speak.

A "device driver" operates as "part of the kernel."

Developers often specialize in creating device-drivers, however. ("Some folks like to play with wires; others don't.") So there's a lot to be said for working with an experienced person who likes to do this sort of thing.
