How fast do the real-time patches come out?


I'm just asking because the latest 5.4 RT patch seems to be 5.4.40 but the newest 5.4 kernel is 5.4.43.

that obviously depends on the os, I have no 5.4 kernel and no patches at all.....
Most probably it depends on the tests/validation process. Sometimes there is a conflict or something went wrong....
Are you interested in a specific patch?

By the way it looks like it is available now: https://mirrors.edge.kernel.org/pub/...ojects/rt/5.4/
