enable NTFS file System


How could i enable windows file system ntfs in redhat5, or should i enable it in Kernel first , and how i do that??

You probably want to use NTFS-3G, which is based on FUSE, and not actually built into the kernel.

red hat 5 WHAT ???
the current in the 5 series is 5.6
RHEL 6.0 is the current


red hat has this VERY VERY well documented on there site
Did you read the rhel docs?????

login and search for ntfs

the install instructions ARE VERY VERY VERY yes VERY different( a known bug ) for rhel5.3 and older and for 5.4 ,5.5 ,and 5.6

if you are NOT paying for red hat , then DO NOT use it !
install CEntOS 5.5 instead
