CPU affinity on kernel 2.4.14-SMP

Hi, I would really appreciate your help on the following issue

What i need is to set the processor affinity on a system the kernel of which is 2.4.14-SMP. Unfortunately i can not update the system.

What i need is something equivalent to sched_setaffinity() or the taskset commands which however do not exist on this kernel.

Thanks in advance, TSIK
