Centos 6.3 Kernel 3.5 and above usb sound card issues

I am having issues with Creative XIFI usb sound card.
I currently use 2.6.32-279.9.1 el kernel and every newer version kernel breaks my sound, I hear strange noises . Tried ALSA and Pulseaudio and I get the same horrible sounds.
Did someone come across this issue and know how to fix it?

on cent if you are going to move from the default and RECOMMENDED already installed kernel and move to the 3+ branch

you will need to rebuild the operating system from the ground up

if that is what you want to do then
building from source "Linux From Scratch "
would be a much better choice of an operating system

there is a REASON you chose Cent ( RHEL)
the fact it IS STABLE -- VERY STABLE

if you MUST use the 3.6 kernel then do not use RHEL/CentOS/SL
