Batch task scheduling class

Hi, I want to write for kernel 2.2 (don't ask why this version please

) batch task scheduling class. As far as I know it's directly related with SCHED_BATCH, but I don't have any idea how to push it forward and make it working.

Doing it is needed to execute some tasks at specific time (mostly at night) and I got task to implement it with these requirements - batch mode and for kernel 2.2.

Please some info how to deal with it. I know how batch mode is working but at the moment it's all i know at all.

you don't need to hack a kernel to get something to run in batch mode.

Since you refer to SCHED_BATCH, I assume that you are actually referring to this particular kernel scheduling algorithm. As discussed in the (now, fairly old) article http://lwn.net/Articles/3866/. Can you tell us more about what this requirement means to you, to your present business need?
