wireless problem

I have an IBM R32 notebook. It has built-in wireless
network card. After I installed the driver, I can
connect to the router (home adsl wireless network).
I can ping the router but I cannot ping/connect to
any outside ip, I am sure the internet is connected
in the router.

Here is the result of command
[root@localhost network-scripts]# iwconfig wlan0
Warning: Driver for device wlan0 recommend version 18 of Wireless
Extension,
but has been compiled with version 17, therefore some driver features
may not be available...

wlan0 Auto ESSIDff/any Nickname:"localhost"
Channel:0 Access Point: 202:FCC:000 Bit Rate=11
Mb/s
RTS thr=-9 B Fragment thr=-9 B
Encryption keyff
Power Management max timeout:0us mode:All packets received
Link Quality:0 Signal level:0 Noise level:0
Rx invalid nwid:0 Rx invalid crypt:0 Rx invalid frag:0
Tx excessive retries:0 Invalid misc:0 Missed beacon:0

I do not know where the problem is, seems that the driver
is not correct? I remebered it has worked once before but
I reinstalled the system later.

Have you checked /etc/resolv.conf for your dns server address?

ndisdriver?

When you upgraded your linux installation did you use "Yum" or another download manager? Presuming your kernel and kernel-devel files were updated, did you "uninstall" ndiswrapper, and re-install it after booting the new kernel? Your ndiswrapper version may or may not be correct for the new kernel version and you may have to download a later version... Presumably from someone else's computer...
