Will these work?

I need some drivers for my ATI Radeon 8500 and Red Hat 9. This has two different ones for XFree 4.3.0. Which ones do I need and once I have them, how do I install them?

Thanks.

What are the differences in the two? Is it depending on kernel, cpu, compiler, x server or things like that?

I hope you installed kernel-sources and the developmental packages.

# Find CPU specifications
cat /proc/cpuinfo

# Find running kernel version
uname -r

# What compiler version do I have installed
gcc -v
gcc --version

# Find X server version
X -showconfig
