Question Which portable MP3 player is best for Linux

I'm looking to buy an afordable MP3 player. Are there any models that have more Linux compatability than others?

Any advice on which is the best to buy will be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

What you want to look for are models that operate as USB mass storage devices, and that lack the DRM features to prevent their use as thumbdrive. I love my Muro MR-100, it was fairly cheap and works great in Linux. See my Hardware review on this site for more info.
