Cool What is your internet's speed?

Mine is 2Mb/sec, downloading speed,
uploading speed is slower.
Malaysia is very backward in internet's speed,
a government-linked company monopolizes the business and does improvement very slowly.

What is the fastest speed in the world now?
Theoretically, how fast can it go with fibre optics?

Mine is 25Mbps D/L and 2Mbps U/L.

The highest speed here is 100Mbps.

But I don't think it's just the figures. I worked as a contractor at a company that with a 6Mbps dedicated fiber line to the same ISP as me. That 6Mbps (at least for me) appeared to be much faster than my 25Mbps.

I know much of the FIOS users have reported some pretty high speeds, don't think they beat the claimed speed of Google's ultra fast.

The dorm I live in is connected through optical fibre (FDDI I suppose) with the university, providing us with 100Mbps download. If I recall correctly I got 86Mbps download ~60Mbps upload on speedtest.net
In my parents' house we have 2Mbps download 512Kbps upload.

This is my current speed. I'm due for an upgrade to 120Mbps soon, but I've been waiting for quite a while for that to happen.
