I know this doesn't have anything to do with linux & hardware in general, but I run linux and this involves my hardware Plus, this forum is great and the people here give good advice.

I recently tried to install water cooling and my video card got rather wet. The only components that were in my computer were the motherboard, video card and cpu. I figured out where I went wrong, but I'm wondering if there's any way to save these components.

They were not running and there was no power connected to them.

I was running a mixture of 3 / 4 water & 1 /4 Innovatek Protective Pro.

I've heard if I let my parts dry completely before I turn them on I should be fine, is this true? and if so does anyone have any recommendations for drying them off quicker?

make sure theyre totally dry.......use compressed air on the mobo slots too.a hair-dryer or heat-lamp would speed things up.
i assume this happened while you were leak-testing the system?

exactly, i had all my blocks and tubes setup and one of my clamps wasn't tight enough. all i can say is that I learned a heck of a lesson.
