Want opinions on new hard drive!

This week I am getting a new 80 gig hard drive (all that I can afford) to go with the 20 gig I already have.

What I normally use my pc for is the internet, games, word proccesing suite, and video editing.

I want opinions on how many partitions and what sizes to make them. Right now I have 1 part. for win98, 1 part for linux (/root, /var, etc) and 1 part for /home.

I would like to set my system up so that if a dist came out that I liked I would not have to do a whole lot of reinstalls of various programs (amsn, oogle, etc.)

Thanks for your opinions.

Mitch.
